Facilitating ideas, research, experiences and opinions, our Connecting Ideas blog series provides a forum for both UNU-CRIS and external researchers to share their expertise, and for our community to get an inside take on some of the most crucial issues of our time.

Do you have an idea you'd like to share? 

Here are the guidelines:

• The word count of a blog post should ideally be between 600-1200 words. UNU-CRIS reserves the right to allow the limits to be exceeded, depending on the nature of the piece.
• All blogs are to be written in consistent British English. Translations of posts originally written in another language are accepted for consideration.
• The blog post must include a 2-3 sentence overview of the post, such as those found on the examples on this page.
• All referencing is to be done through in-text hyperlinks.
• Tables, schemes, diagrams and figures may be incorporated into the text. The visualisation of key information is encouraged. Please attach all images when submitting your blog.
• Subheadings should be included in the text.
• The authors should attach a recent photo and a link to a biography/profile/social media account.
