The annual June Climate Meetings under UN Climate Change will take place in Bonn from 8–18 June 2026. The meetings, formally known as the 64th Sessions of the Subsidiary Bodies (SB 64), bring together governments, experts and stakeholders to advance negotiations and technical work under the UNFCCC.
Building on the outcomes of COP30 in Belém, Brazil, this year's sessions will continue discussions on key climate priorities and help shape the road to CO P31 in Türkiye. A delegation of experts from UNU-EHS and UNU-VIE will be on hand throughout the meetings, contributing expertise across a wide range of agenda items. From climate finance and loss and damage to climate and health and mountain resilience, UNU-EHS and UNU-VIE researchers will engage in discussions aimed at strengthening evidence-based solutions to the climate crisis.
