  • The mission of the UNU Institute on Computing and Society (UNU-CS) is to focus on the key challenges faced by developing societies through high-impact innovations in computing and information technologies.

    A focused research programme, to be developed in collaboration with the Board of the Institute, will contribute, through impact and policy advice, to the goals and priorities of the emerging UN development agenda. The lnstitute’s scope for doctoral and postdoctoral fellowships should contribute to nurturing the next generation of computing and information scientists and engineers in developing countries.
