UNU Macau, AI Singapore, and the University of Pretoria have jointly launched KITA AI, an SDG-aligned agentic platform that helps decision-makers navigate complex social, ethical and developmental trade-offs while ensuring diverse perspectives are considered.
Developed to bridge advances in agentic artificial intelligence with the practical needs of policymakers, KITA AI supports multilateral, inclusive, evidence-based and context-sensitive decision-making. The platform is designed to help governments, institutions and stakeholders better understand the implications of policy choices across sustainable development priorities.
Named after the Indonesian word "kita", meaning an inclusive “we”, KITA AI is grounded in the principle that decision-making should reflect the needs and perspectives of all members of society, particularly vulnerable and underrepresented communities.
