UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa will co-organize a fourth in a series of events exploring local sustainability initiatives and disaster recovery efforts in Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, which suffered significant damage due to earthquakes and heavy rainfall in 2024. Titled "Weaving Connections Within and Beyond Noto, Beyond the Disasters", the event will feature practitioners who have been supporting recovery efforts from both within and outside the region. They will provide an update on the current situation and discuss how people — including those who do not reside in Noto — can continue to stay connected with the area.
Participation & Registration
The event is open to the public and will take place on the 1st Floor Annex Terrace of the UNU Building in Tokyo. To attend, please register in advance.
