In this Science Talk, Professor Tafadzwa Mabhaudhi will examine the complex challenges facing global food systems amid climate change, environmental degradation, and growing social inequalities. Drawing on the Water-Energy-Food-Environment Nexus approach, Professor Mabhaudhi will explore how interconnected solutions, inclusive governance, and collective action can address the pressures threatening food security, nutrition, health, and livelihoods. The talk will highlight opportunities to move beyond fragmented approaches and advance transformative pathways that strengthen resilience, promote equity, and support sustainable outcomes for both people and the planet.
