Ms. Marjan Asadullah is a communications professional with expertise in journalism, multimedia storytelling, and strategic communications, with a focus on global affairs and public interest narratives.
At UNU-INWEH, she supports the Institute’s communications and media activities, contributing to content development, digital communications, and media engagement. She helps amplify research and policy insights by translating complex issues into engaging and accessible content for diverse audiences.
Prior to joining UNU-INWEH, Ms. Asadullah worked in several of Canada’s leading news organizations, including CTV News, CityNews, and the Toronto Star, where she produced and reported on national and international stories. Her experience spans broadcast journalism, digital media, and audience-focused storytelling.
Ms. Asadullah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Toronto and an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Journalism from Centennial College.
