Eighth Japan Youth Environmental Activity Contest

UNU-IAS will hold the Eighth Japan Youth Environmental Activity Contest for high school students to share ideas and activities on sustainability.

The Eighth Japan Youth Environmental Activity Contest will be held on 5 February 2023. This annual event aims to empower youth by providing opportunities for mutual learning and scaling up their activities to develop practical solutions for achieving the SDGs. The contest is co-organised by UNU-IAS; the Ministry of the Environment of Japan; and the Environmental Restoration and Conservation Agency, Japan.

At the event, 16 student groups selected from eight regional competitions across Japan will present their work. Winning teams will be awarded prizes.

Participation

To participate online, please register by 31 January 2023.
