WetlandHealth4UNgoals is a collaboration between the University of Bonn’s Center for Remote Sensing of Land Surfaces (ZFL), which develops targeted earth observation-based information products on vegetation vitality, and UNU-EHS, which assesses the condition of wetlands and associated nature's contribution to people. Using Lake Baringo, Kenya to assess condition and values, the project aims to support the sustainable wetland management, as well as to contribute to the fight against global challenges (climate change, disasters, biodiversity loss and land degradation) through implementing an improved monitoring and reporting service.
