UNU-EHS at the World Urban Forum (WUF12)

Check UNU-EHS involvement at the World Urban Forum.

The World Urban Forum (WUF) is the premier global conference on sustainable urbanization, created by the United Nations in 2001 to address the challenges and opportunities of rapid urban growth. This year’s WUF12, co-organized by the Government of Egypt, will bring together leaders from governments, academia, business, civil society and urban planning in a collaborative effort to shape the future of cities. From topics like urban transformation, nature-based solutions in cities and urban land restoration to governance and data, participatory planning and financing loss and damage in marginalized communities, UNU-EHS will contribute to this global dialogue through a series of events and speaking engagements. Whether you're attending in person or following along from afar, we invite you to join our sessions and follow our social media channels for expert insights into how we are addressing critical urban issues.
