UNU-EGOV is supporting the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) of Qatar in advancing the country’s digital transformation. The project focuses on strengthening national capacity in global digital government benchmarks, improving the quality of data submissions, and providing expert guidance to enhance Qatar’s international standing. The overall goal is to reinforce Qatar’s leadership in digital governance and contribute to more efficient, user-centred public services.

Activities
A1. Organise a Benchmark Training Session on the E-Government Development Index (EGDI), Government Technology Maturity Index (GTMI), and Global e-Government Maturity Survey (GEMS) for key MCIT experts @Guimarães, UNU-EGOV (Portugal). 
A2. Advice on processes and approaches to collect and compile EGDI, GTMI and GEMS benchmarks member state questionnaires/surveys. Assist with quality assurance of member state questionnaires/surveys.
