Functional annotation

The United Nations University Programme of Biotechnology for Latin America and the Caribbean has funded over 440 short fellowships for scientists that have an opportunity to train in or do a piece of research with technology available in laboratories outside of their home country. This not only speeds up the transfer of research technology and know-how whithin the region, but also solidifies scientific collaboration networks across the continent.
