3. National action plans in both Ireland and Northern Ireland face challenges such as inadequate funding, inconsistent coordination, and accessibility issues, especially in rural areas. 
 

4. Sustained efforts, including increased funding, cross-border partnerships, and diplomatic collaboration, are essential for a unified and effective approach to reducing violence against women across the island of Ireland
