Global Pluralism Monitor: Country Reviews in the MENA Region

This project contributes to the Global Pluralism Monitor through the review and assessment of country reports across the Middle East and North Africa.

Funded by: Global Centre for Pluralism, part of the Aga Khan Foundation.

Drawing on comparative governance and social policy expertise, the research evaluates institutional inclusion, legal frameworks, social participation and protection of diverse population groups. The work supports evidence-based assessment of pluralism while providing recommendations for strengthening inclusive governance and social cohesion. The findings contribute to an internationally recognised comparative dataset that informs governments, civil society organisations and international development partners. The project expands UNU-MERIT's engagement with issues of governance, inclusion and institutional resilience beyond traditional social protection research.
