In this talk, Professor Herman Barkema will address the factors that have increased antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial use (AMU) in animals and humans. Also, he will explain why a One Health approach to AMR is needed and what we should do worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
