Mark Akrofi calls for equitable energy transitions and highlights the role of individual lifestyles in climate action.

On 1 February 2025, KAWAZ, a magazine on sustainable living and communities, published a profile interview with Mark Akrofi (Postdoctoral Fellow, UNU-IAS) sharing his perspective on sustainability.  

The article discusses his academic and professional background, as well as the impact of climate change. It focuses on sustainable and equitable energy transitions in Africa, including his home country, Ghana. Dr. Akrofi emphasizes the need to raise awareness in Japan about the role of individual lifestyles in climate action.
