UNU-IAS will host an online seminar highlighting the importance of regional gastronomy in tourism and exploring how the food and beverage industry can contribute to sustainable development. The event aims to address issues at the nexus of tourism, food, and the SDGs, including the promotion of local food culture, food loss, and food supply chain management. Engaging local chefs and experts, the seminar will discuss how to tackle these issues at a local level.

The event will be organised by UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa (OUIK).
