On 21 February at 12:30 (UTC+8) the UNU International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) will host the webinar Infant and Young Child Feeding: Policy, Power, and Politics. Phil Baker will talk about the global rise of ultra-processed foods, the commercial determinants of nutrition, and global changes in infant and young child feeding. Drawing on his research on the political economy of breastfeeding and commercial milk formula promotion, he will present a global policy case study on the commercial determinants of health. Phil is currently working with the World Health Organization, UNU-IIGH, and other colleagues on a new Lancet Series on Breastfeeding.

The webinar will be moderated by Dr David McCoy, Research Lead (Evidence to Policy) at UNU-IIGH.

The event will also be covered and live-streamed on UNU-IIGH social media channels including Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
