Remote Consultant in Collaborative Human-AI Argumentation (CTC Contract)
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision and guidance of the Senior Researcher/Acting Head of Research, the consultant will contribute to AI state-of-the-art research to contribute to the development of a human-AI argumentative framework, which supports SDG-aligned decision making.
- Conduct research on an inclusive human-AI argumentative framework to support UN member states on SDG-aligned decision making.
- Contribute to deliver a prototype and support its validation with domain experts and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the writing of 1 publication and/or technical demo and submit it to a top-tier conference or journal.

Remote Research Consultant for Pedagogical Human-LLM Interaction (CTC Contract)
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision and the guidance of the Senior Researcher/Acting Head of Research, the candidate will contribute to AI state-of-the-art research to contribute to the development of an AI Coaching Tool for Complex AI-Supported Policymaking, which supports policymakers in improving how they interact with AI for complex policy tasks.
- Contribute to the technical development of a UN customized AI Coach, which helps UNU stakeholders use Large Language Models: improving the formulation of requests, critically assessing responses, and recognizing unsupported assumptions or biases.
- Test the prototype and implement the necessary technical changes in iterations.
- Contribute to the writing of 1 publication and/or technical demo and submit it to a top-tier conference or journal.
