UNU Macau Hosts Delegation from O.P. Jindal Global University to Explore Collaborative Initiatives

Both sides explored collaboration in joint research projects, academic exchanges, and fellowship programs.

The United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau) welcomed a delegation from O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) to explore potential areas of collaboration in academic and research initiatives aligned with both institutions' shared commitment to addressing global challenges.

The JGU delegation included Prof. Padmanabha Ramanujam, Professor of Law at Jindal Global Law School, Dean of Academic Governance & Student Life, and Head of the Office of Sustainability; and Prof. (Dr.) Rahul Bhandari, Associate Professor of Business and Head of the Office of Institutional Advancement and Strategic Global Engagement.

During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective institutions and shared opportunities for joint initiatives. They discussed potential exchanges of students, as well as training and fellowship programs, to further strengthen collaboration. Key areas of interest included digital governance, policy research, and sustainable development. UNU Macau also extended an invitation to JGU for the upcoming UNU Macau AI Conference 2025.

This meeting marks the beginning of collaboration between UNU Macau and JGU, with plans for joint research projects, academic exchanges, and fellowship programs focused on SDG partnerships.
