Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition: Submission Deadline Extended

The submission deadline for the AI for SDGs: Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition 2025 has been extended to August 31, 2025.

In celebration of UN Youth Month and in response to widespread interest, the submission deadline for the AI for SDGs: Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition 2025 has been extended to August 31, 2025.

This extension provides additional time for prospective applicants to refine their proposals and engage meaningfully with the competition’s global mission.

 

About the Competition

Organized in collaboration with UNU Macau, Venture Cup China, and the Institute for AI International Governance of Tsinghua University, the competition aims to mobilize youth and interdisciplinary teams from around the world to address urgent environmental challenges through innovative AI solutions under the theme of AI for the Environment: Ecological Environment and Green Transition Challenges.

• Climate Change Adaptation
• Environmental Protection and Conservation
• Clean Energy
• AI for Less Developed Countries

 

Awards and Opportunities

Selected proposals will be recognized at the international level and will receive strategic guidance and financial support for further development. Teams may also gain the opportunity to pilot their solutions in China. The Macau Prize will honor outstanding contributions from local participants, with a focus on regional innovation.
