AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future
The UNU Macau AI Conference 2025 will open with a high-level plenary session that sets the tone for the day’s dialogue under the theme “AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future.”
Framed by the Pact for the Future and the Global Digital Compact, the plenary will explore the urgent need for inclusive digital governance, ethical AI frameworks, and equitable access to emerging technologies. Speakers will reflect on the transformative potential of AI across sectors and regions, especially in the Global South, and challenge participants to co-create a future where innovation is grounded in human dignity, sustainability, and shared responsibility.
