The webinar, hosted by UNU-INWEH in collaboration with the UN Environment Management Group (EMG), will explore strategies for achieving Land Degradation Neutrality (LDN) and advancing the goals of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). The discussion will emphasize the importance of integrated approaches and enhanced collaboration among the UN system and key stakeholders.

This dialogue, held in the lead-up to COP 16, will feature a distinguished panel of experts sharing insights, innovative strategies, and actionable recommendations to implement UNCCD goals globally. Discussions will focus on integrated solutions to address interconnected challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and land degradation. The event will also explore ways to enhance cooperation across key global frameworks, such as the Rio Conventions, the Sendai Framework, and other multilateral environmental agreements.
