Capucine is a consultant on the NIHR research project "Realizing the full potential of the PHC workforce: Addressing gendered workplace violence" under the Gender Equality & Intersectionality work package

Capucine holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, with a specialisation in International Crises and Conflicts, from the University Panthéon-Sorbonne. Her academic trajectory reflects a sustained interest in security cooperation mechanisms in the Asia-Pacific region, furthered through studies at Waseda University in Tokyo and Ewha Womans University in Seoul. During this time, she had the opportunity to acquire research experience exploring the intersections of socio-political authority, legal architectures, and security paradigms within the evolving regional order of Northeast Asia. Her master’s thesis critically examined the stability of constitutional provisions and evolving legal interpretations underpinning Japan’s contemporary security posture. Prior to joining UNU-IIGH, Capucine gained professional experience in documentary research, sectoral analysis & reporting, and stakeholder mapping through internships at NEWEN and CAPA media & press agencies.
