The 3rd Annual Meeting of the Greening Education Partnership (GEP) will be held at the 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP30) in Belém, Brazil and online, and will serve as a platform for ensuring education remains central in climate discussions.
The meeting will consolidate the progress made from the last two GEP annual meetings, reinforce global commitments and secure education's place as a strategic pillar in climate policy. The work of GEP will also be shared and launched at the meeting, including recent and forthcoming publications, training programmes and the global GEP dashboard.
UNU-IAS is a co-coordinator of the GEP Working Group 4 (Greening Communities) together with the Food and Agricultural Organization and the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
