This expert roundtable brought together experts from a range of disciplines to exchange views and experiences on the issue of climate-security. The event was organized thematically around three inter-related issues in the climate-security field: farmer-herder conflicts, migration/displacement-related tensions, and conflicts over water. The event drew on country-specific studies to highlight common themes, approaches, and challenges for governments, the UN and other partners.

The event was hosted by United Nations University Centre for Policy Research with support from UK Aid Direct.
