The Reconfiguration of the Centers and Margins of Development Finance: The Roles and Agendas of Multilateral Development Banks and International Development Cooperation at the FdD4 in Seville

2. El “Compromiso de Sevilla” marcó un punto de inflexión en cuanto a los roles y agendas que tradicionalmente se asignaron a los Bancos Multilaterales de Desarrollo (BMD) y a la Cooperación Internacional al Desarrollo (CID). 
 

3. Los BMD se reposicionan como actores clave con un mandato ampliado para movilizar recursos, gestionar más riesgos y ampliar sus instrumentos financieros.
 

4. La CID enfrenta estancamientos institucionales, sin compromisos financieros ni reformas sustantivas que respondan a las crecientes demandas del Sur Global.
