Drawing on comparative governance and social policy expertise, the research evaluates institutional inclusion, legal frameworks, social participation and protection of diverse population groups. The work supports evidence-based assessment of pluralism while providing recommendations for strengthening inclusive governance and social cohesion. The findings contribute to an internationally recognised comparative dataset that informs governments, civil society organisations and international development partners. The project expands UNU-MERIT's engagement with issues of governance, inclusion and institutional resilience beyond traditional social protection research.
