
The United Nations University Institute in Macau is pleased to announce that Professor Simon See will join the UNU Macau AI Conference 2025 as a keynote speaker. The conference will take place on 24 October 2025 in Macau, marking both the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and the 50th anniversary of the United Nations University under the theme “AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future.”
A recognized leader at the intersection of AI research, innovation and application, Professor See serves as the Senior Director, Chief Solution Architect and Global Head of the NVIDIA AI Technology Center. His academic contributions span borders: he is a professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an adjunct professor at renowned institutions including the University of Surrey, Coventry University, Newcastle University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Nanyang Technological University, University of Indonesia and Gadjah Mada University. His appointment as Executive Director of the ASEAN Applied Research Centre further reflects his dedication to fostering regional collaboration and applied AI research for development.
With more than 200 publications spanning High-Performance Computing, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Science, and Simulation Methodology, Professor See has received numerous recognitions for his contributions to both theory and practice. His keynote will be an invaluable contribution to our Conference’s theme: AI for Humanity: Building an Equitable Digital Future.
