UNU Macau Meets with the New President of Macau University of Science and Technology

UNU Macau met MUST’s new president to discuss collaboration on digital transformation, talent development, and future research partnerships.

A delegation from the United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau), led by Director Dr. Jingbo Huang, met with the newly appointed President of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Chair Professor Jian-Kang Zhu, at the university’s campus.

 

 

During the meeting, Dr. Huang and Professor Zhu exchanged views on areas of mutual interest, including digital transformation, talent development, and opportunities for academic and research collaboration. Both sides highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in addressing global challenges and expressed enthusiasm for exploring joint initiatives that leverage Macau’s unique role as a bridge between international and regional innovation ecosystems.

The visit reaffirmed UNU Macau’s commitment to deepening engagement with local universities and contributing to Macau’s broader goals in education, research, and technological advancement. UNU Macau looks forward to continued dialogue with MUST and to identifying concrete avenues for partnership that support shared priorities in sustainable development and digital futures.
