The United Nations University Institute in Macau (UNU Macau) and the Shanghai AI-Finance School of East China Normal University (SAIFS, ECNU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish an internship collaboration, providing students with opportunities to gain professional experience within the United Nations system.
Under this agreement, eligible SAIFS students will have the opportunity to undertake internships at UNU Macau, engaging in research activities related to digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development. Through hands-on experience and exposure to the work of the United Nations University, students will strengthen their professional skills, broaden their global perspectives, and enhance their understanding of technology-driven solutions for sustainable development.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing academic exchange, supporting youth capacity development, and fostering future-ready talent at the intersection of emerging technologies and sustainable development. UNU Macau will continue to work with academic partners to create opportunities for young people to contribute to research and innovation for a more sustainable digital future.
