United Nations University Institute in Macau and the Blue Institute, Seychelles, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen collaboration at the intersection of digital technologies, ocean and coastal issues, and sustainable development.
The partnership will focus on joint research, training, workshops, and knowledge exchange, bringing together UNU Macau’s expertise in digital technologies for sustainable development and the Blue Institute’s focus on connecting science-led marine conservation with sustainable economic development. The collaboration will also explore tailored programmes on AI for the Blue Economy, applying digital technologies to marine and coastal challenges.
