High-Performance Computing in Transition is an in-person seminar hosted by Feishu in collaboration with the China–BRICS Artificial Intelligence Development and Cooperation Center, with support from the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health. The event will take place on March 12, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:10 at the Haina Town Digital Innovation Center, No. 55 Yueyaquan Road, Putuo District, Shanghai. The program includes a keynote lecture followed by a panel discussion.
The keynote speaker is Professor J. Dongarra, recipient of the 2021 ACM A.M. Turing Award and a leading figure in high-performance computing. His lecture will examine the transformation of high-performance computing in the era of artificial intelligence and hyperscale cloud systems, with particular attention to energy constraints, data movement, mixed-precision computing, and integrated AI and simulation workflows. A panel discussion featuring representatives from academia, supercomputing infrastructure, policy institutions, and industry will follow. Feishu High-Performance Computing Laboratory will also introduce its upcoming postdoctoral recruitment program, with Professor Dongarra serving as co-supervisor.
