Ronald Tundang is a Policy Research Fellow at the United Nations University – International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH). His work sits at the intersection of law, economics and public health.

He has over a decade of experience spanning diplomacy, government service, academia, and policy research. Prior to his academic career, he served as a diplomat and legal adviser at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, where he worked on trade, investment, and public-health-related negotiations in multilateral and bilateral forums. He has since advised governments, regional bodies, and international organizations on sustainable investment policy and global health governance, including through his work with IISD, Duke-NUS Medical School, and ASEAN.

Ronald’s work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of International Economic LawJournal of World Trade, and Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice, as well as policy platforms including East Asia Forum and Think Global Health.
