This is a 3-year joint research project between the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) and the Rural Development Administration of the Republic of Korea (RDA) on conducting characteristic analysis of agricultural heritage system, development of conservation management indicators and guidelines on evaluation of sustainability related to these agricultural heritage systems. Research methodologies include field surveys, application of tools and conduct of international symposiums and High-Level Training and Experience Sharing on GIAHS workshops in Korea and Japan.
