An interview with Akio Takemoto (Programme Head, UNU-IAS) was featured in Fujingaho magazine’s digital edition on Earth Day 2022 (22 April). In the interview, entitled "Stop! The Earth is screaming for help: Earth is facing global warming”, Dr Takemoto explains the climate crisis and the action that is needed to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C.
