On 8 June 2022, an article in the Ehime Shimbun reported on students from Ehime University Senior High School delivering a presentation at a UNU-IAS symposium in Tokyo for International Day for Biological Diversity. The school also received the UNU-IAS Director’s Award at the Seventh Youth Environmental Activity Contest in February 2022.
