Agreement between UNU-IAS and AEON Environmental Foundation Featured in Japanese Media

The new agreement will strengthen collaboration for sustainability through joint research and capacity development.

Following our press conference on 6 June 2024, Japanese media featured the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between UNU-IAS and AEON Environmental Foundation aiming at fostering collaboration between the two organizations to advance global sustainability.  

Through this agreement, the two organizations seek to accelerate efforts to achieve global goals such as the Kunming-Montreal Biodiversity Framework and the Paris Agreement.
