What's SDGs? — Ishikawa-san Live News It!

UNU-IAS will contribute to a local news TV programme in Ishikawa as guest commentator on SDGs.

UNU-IAS will contribute to the evening news TV programme Ishikawa-san Live News It!, broadcast by Ishikawa Television Broadcasting Company in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.

Mikiko Nagai (Liaison Coordinator, UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa) will appear in the programme as a guest commentator in the segment “What’s SDGs?”, exploring local initiatives towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The short segment is broadcast every other Thursday from April 2021 to March 2022. Please note that the programme is only available in Japanese.

UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa

The UNU-IAS Operating Unit Ishikawa/Kanazawa (OUIK) supports policy development for the integrated conservation and sustainable use of biological and cultural resources. It is advancing local implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and other global agendas by building multi-stakeholder partnerships in the region. UNU-IAS OUIK works closely with the governments of Ishikawa Prefecture and Kanazawa City in Japan, as well as international partners such as the CBD Secretariat, FAO, and UNESCO.
