Achieving the SDGs by 2030 will require ambitious, concerted action throughout society. Local initiatives have enormous potential to drive the transformational change that is needed across the globe. They also have a crucial role to play in mobilizing stakeholders in different sectors.

This event will share diverse perspectives and insights from innovative sustainability initiatives in education, culture, sport, and sustainable business and investment, and beyond. Drawing from these initiatives in different regions, it will discuss approaches for empowering communities and scaling up the knowledge and action they generate to accelerate global progress.

Location

The event will be held in Kanazawa City at the Shinoki Cultural Complex in Seminar Room A on the 3rd floor.
