Information Session on the 2025 Global Youth MIDORI platform (GYM)

UNU-IAS will host an online information session on the Global Youth MIDORI platform (GYM) capacity development programme, which empowers youth to take a leading role in addressing biodiversity loss, climate change and other sustainability challenges. The programme is open to undergraduate students in all countries. 

The information session will explain the purpose and structure of the programme, and provide guidance on the application process. All potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend. 

Participation & Registration

The session will be held on the Zoom videoconferencing platform. To participate, please register by 7 May 2025. If you are unable to attend the session in real time, a recording will be shared with all registered participants after the event.

This event will be held in English. 

About Global Youth MIDORI platform (GYM)

Launched jointly by UNU-IAS and the AEON Environmental Foundation, GYM cultivates young leaders who can drive transformative changes at both local and global levels toward the realization of a sustainable society. Through various learning and networking opportunities, it equips youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to meaningfully participate in international decision-making processes. GYM 2025 will be held online on 4–6 August 2025. The application deadline is 18 May.
