On 14 December 2024, UNU-IAS will co-organize an event bringing together youth representatives to share their experiences and reflections from their participation in the 2024 UN Biodiversity Conference (CBD COP16) and the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP29). The event will also address ways to develop platforms and mechanisms to accelerate meaningful youth participation in international decision-making processes.
This event will be held in a roundtable format, facilitating exchange of ideas between panelists and participants. The event is co-organized by AEON Environmental Foundation and the Global Environment Outreach Centre (GEOC).

This event will take place in the 1F Annex Space of the UNU HQ Building in Tokyo, Japan.
Please register in advance. The event will be held in person; online participation is not possible.
