Global Consultations to Shape the Future Education Agenda

Young people are encouraged to share their views through a global survey.

UNESCO and the SDG 4 Youth & Student Network, with a mandate from the SDG 4 High-Level Steering Committee, are consulting young people worldwide to help develop the Post-2030 Youth Education and Learning Agenda, a youth-centered proposal document that captures young people’s realities, the changes they want to see, and the actions they believe are possible. A three-year global consultation process (2026–2028) has been launched, with UNU supporting the initiative as a partner institution.

Part of the global consultations is a survey among youth and students, where they can share their views on their vision and aspirations for the world, the changes they would like to see in education and learning, and the actions they are willing to take to help bring about these changes.

Take Part

Youth

Youth and students aged 11–30 are encouraged to complete the survey, available in multiple languages and open until 20 September 2026.

Regional and global consultations will also be organized and posted on the UNESCO website and the @Education2030UN social media channels (LinkedIn, X).

Educators and Partners

Teachers and organizations working with youth can organize discussions with youth and students and submit a group response to the survey. Guidance documents for facilitators are available per age group (11–14, 15–18, 19–30 years old) on the UNESCO website.
