This year’s UN Climate Change Conference, COP 30, will take place in Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025.
COP 30 in Brazil centres on turning climate pledges into action, with a focus on forest protection, renewable energy and inclusive global cooperation. This year, our institute will be sending a delegation of experts on various climate issues. From climate finance and frontier technologies to capacity-building and inclusive cities, our expertise cuts across many of COP 30’s most urgent themes.
At the 7th Capacity-building Hub at COP 30, UNU-VIE will once again lead the Capacity-building Academy.
