UNU-EHS & UNU-VIE at COP29

Check out UNU-EHS & UNU-VIE involvement at the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29).

This year’s UN Climate Change Conference, COP29, will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November.

At COP29, the nations of the world will meet to discuss climate finance, loss and damage, adaptation, and boost climate ambition. This year, our institute will be sending a delegation of experts on various climate issues. From climate finance and climate mobility to loss and damage, frontier technologies and capacity-building, our expertise cuts across many of COP29’s most urgent themes.

UNU-VIE will also be leading the organization of the Capacity-building Academy at the 6th Capacity-building Hub (14-21 November).
