UNU-EGOV at CAPSI 2025: Sustainability in Information Systems

Researcher Joana Carvalho took part in the conference’s Doctoral Consortium.

The United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV) attended the CAPSI 2025 – Conference of the Portuguese Association for Information Systems, which this year marked its 25th anniversary under the theme “Sustainability in Information Systems: Business and Society in Harmony”.

Held from 16 to 18 October 2025 at the University of the Azores (São Miguel Island, Portugal), the conference gathered academics and professionals to discuss the challenges of digital sustainability and technological innovation.

UNU-EGOV researcher Joana Carvalho participated in the Doctoral Consortium, a closed pre-conference event featuring five PhD students and three senior reviewers. The session provided a space for constructive discussion and feedback on ongoing doctoral research.
