The United Nations University Centre for Policy Research on Digital Governance (UNU-EGOV) participated in the inaugural event of the Training Cycle on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Digital Transformation in Public Administration and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Viseu on Wednesday, February 26th. This initiative is promoted by the AI4PA consortium.

In Viseu, the event “Public Innovation: Digital Strategies and Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration and SMEs” featured morning presentations on Generative AI, AI-Driven public services, and high-impact AI solutions, culminating in a debate on digital governance. During the afternoon, a co-creation workshop on public services with AI encouraged active participation in creating solutions adapted to each organization. This was followed by an Exhibition / Pitch Sessions / Speed Meetings session where AI4PA partners presented their technological proposals, creating opportunities for the co-creation of pilot projects. Towards the end of the event, funding opportunities for digital transition projects were addressed, and Mosaico, an innovative digital transformation tool for the public sector, was explored. At the conclusion of the event, each participant will receive a training certificate issued by UNU-EGOV, NOVA IMS, and ISCTE.
