The Year 2025 marks two historic milestones: the 80th Anniversary of the United Nations and the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations University. As the UN reflects eight decades of peacebuilding, global prosperity and sustainability, and UNU celebrates five decades of bridging research and policy for global progress, the moment invites renewed commitment to stronger global governance, multilateral cooperation and inclusive innovation.
To honor these legacies, UNU Macau is launching a multi-day, three-pillar event series from October 23 to 25, 2025. This expanded structure now includes the UNU Macau AI Conference 2025, AI Education Day, and AI for SDGs — Global Youth AI Future Innovation Competition 2025.
