Call for Abstracts: Dresden Nexus Conference 2022

UNU-FLORES is accepting DNC2022 abstract submissions for poster and oral presentations until 10 February 2022.

The fourth edition of the Dresden Nexus Conference (DNC2022) will take place 23–25 May 2022. The DNC is a collaborative effort brought to you by the United Nations University (UNU-FLORES), the Technische Universität Dresden, and the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development.

Since the inception of the DNC in 2015, the international conference provides a platform and meeting point for academics, UN agencies, policymakers, businesses, and civil society to discuss current research and initiatives applying the Resource Nexus approach.

Under the theme “Biodiversity – Stewardship for Vital Resources”, DNC2022 will focus on strengthening biodiversity while addressing other societal challenges (e.g. climate change, urban and regional development, agri-food and forest systems, and circular economy).

The programme will explore research and practical examples of sustainable resource management in communities around the world and how these management strategies support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.

UNU-FLORES is accepting abstract submissions for DNC2022 poster and oral presentations until 10 February 2022.

For more information on the conference, see the DNC2022 concept note.
