Tiruwork Arega Tadesse is a PhD fellow at UNU MERIT and Maastricht University.
Her research interest focuses on the nexus of energy, gender and development. Prior to starting her PhD, Tiruwork worked as a research officer at the International Food Policy Research Institute, the Policy Studies Institute, and as a lecturer at Mekelle University, Ethiopia. Tiruwork holds MSc in Climate and Society and BSc in Natural Resources Economics and Management from Mekelle University, Ethiopia.
